Veterinarian
Dr. Lindsay Simmons earned her bachelor’s degree from Utah State University before completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2019. A Salt Lake City native, she returned home after graduation to be near her family and to care for pets in the community she loves.
Her professional interests center on preventive care—helping pets stay healthy by “preventing the preventable”—and providing a calm, fear free environment so that every patient feels safe and supported during their visits.
At home, Dr. Simmons enjoys life with her husband and their lively crew of pets: three corgis (Happy, Gilly, and Pippi), a chihuahua mix named Jack Jack, and a cat named Yuki. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll often find her cheering on her favorite NFL team, watching the newest superhero movies, or playing games with friends and family.
Dr. Simmons is excited to bring her passion for compassionate, individualized care to the A Gentle Vet team and to partner with pet owners in keeping their companions happy and healthy.
