Veterinarian
Dr. Eric Olson knew Veterinary medicine was for him when he started working with animals when he was 17 at a local pet store, and never looked back. After getting his Bachelor’s at BYU, he attended the University of Glasgow of James Herriot fame for his Veterinary Degree. He loved getting to travel throughout Europe during when he had the chance. After graduation, Dr. Olson did an internship in Oregon before returning to Utah to be closer to family. In 2017, he purchased A Gentle Vet and helped it grow into the community-centered and family-owned clinic it is today.
Dr. Olson’s professional interests lie with improving his Dentistry skills.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Olson loves spending time with his family. Whether he is soaring on an adrenaline rush at an amusement park or relaxing on a beach, he is normally surrounded by family. When not spending time with his family he enjoys fishing, home improvement projects, and walks up the canyon. He has a mammoth-sized cat named Hank, and the sweetest Australian Shepherd named S'mores.
